We’ve partnered with our local high school and different community groups to provide two 24-7 Youth Workers in Kuranui College. These youth workers are already making a big difference in the school as well as in their wider community. For more info click here.
We’ve also partnered with the Wairarapa Whanau Trust. The WWT is a registered charitable trust whose purpose is to coordinate social services in the Wairarapa region, allowing a more coordinated approach to community engagement, development and care, with a specific focus on youth. For more info click here.
As a part of our commitment to serving the wider Greytown community STL has partnered with the Ministry of Education to provide a space for parents and under 5s to gather weekly for music, dancing, connection, and story reading. As a part of our commitment to upholding the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi we make a concerted effort to include te reo Maori songs and stories where appropriate. For more info on M&M click here or contact the office as per above.
